Donald Storm didn't start at the top. At 17, he was on the crew — tearing off old roofs in the Florida heat, hauling debris, and doing the work most people wouldn't. That's where he learned the trade from the ground up, and it's a work ethic he's never let go of.

In 2003, he opened Storm Contracting with a simple mission: bring honest, skilled roofing to Central Florida without the price gouging that had become all too common in the industry. No bait-and-switch estimates. No pushy salespeople. Just quality work done right.

More than two decades later, Storm Contracting has completed thousands of roofs across Orlando and surrounding cities — insurance claims, residential replacements, commercial projects, and government contracts. Donald is still personally invested in every roof that goes on.

When he's not on a roof, he's home with his wife, four kids, and their dog, Grimm.

He used his drone to survey the roof and gave us a report. Although he was not able to help us with the repair due to the panels, he referred us to a solar company that’s certified for the job and he put us in contact, while still at my property. Concluded that the roof is good condition and offered to inspect again immediately following a rain to see if pooling water was the cause of drip. Donald made an appointment for me and came by himself to take a look at a roof issue that a prior contractor had clearly not done properly. He was able to explain the whole issue and offer me choices. Very honest and open, and even suggested (in this case) how (if I were a handyman) he would suggest doing it myself. But he was also very happy to schedule the fix and handle it for me. Honest, reliable, great communication. Happy to recommend anytime.
